Yearling, Two-Year-Old and Three-Year-Old Futurity Results

 

The futurities blossomed into promoting mules yearling, two-year-old and three-year-olds.  There was a great selection of top mules shown in each of the three divisions. 

 

With the 3 year old futurity mules participating in the Reining, Working Cow as well as the trail course, there was a lot for the young animals to handle.  The training that was put into these animals certainly paid off, they showed great agility as well as acceptance and calmness.  The top four mules in reining and in the trail course were split by a total of only 4 points, the cow work seemed to separate the mules as their points ranged by 20 points to the top 4 mules.  The handmade Les Vogt Bit donated by Flat Creek Saddle Shop went to James & Lisa Ferguson with the 1^st place 3-year-old mule.
