Hip #108-Latigo who brought $11,000.
The handmade spurs made by Easton Bits & Spurs were awarded to the buyer of the high selling mule, Tracy and Debbie Tolbert of Heber City, Utah.
The Second Selling Mule Saddle was sold by Jason Wilf of Pleasant Plains, AK and sold to Bill Kiefer of Fargo, ND.
Hip # 104-Blue Bell, brought $8,800

Three futurity colts from each division were allowed to be sold in the Sunday auction. The first place 3 year old mule ridden by Mark Schrimpf and owned by Lisa and James Ferguson sold for $3,800 to William Kiefer of Fargo, North Dakota.
The fourth place 3-year-old mule brought $3,300 sold by Blake Ford to Rhonda Hansen-Barlow of Alpine, Wyoming.
The first place two year old mule sold by Clint Kaller for $1,900 to Leon Searles of Saint John, Michigan.
The yearling futurity colt sold by George G. Kogians brought $2,200 and was sold to Brian Bush of Levi, UT.
The colts were a very good example of the mule breed and their prices were very respectable during the Select Saddle Mule Auction. |
