DESCRIPTION | JCT Crows Weeping Willow
Willow will be an outstanding 3 yr old, 16 hand, dark brown, 1150 lb saddle mule, registered with the American Mule Registry. I have owned this classy young mule her entire life and was bred and raised on the ranch near Sheridan Wyoming. Her mother is a registered Quarter Horse mare with Dual Pep and Peppy San Badger on her papers. Her sire is a registered Mammoth jack, Hunter Mtn Crow, that is a double bred Texas Scooter Jack.
This mule was shown at Jake Clark Mule Days as a yearling by Christina Tift and had been exposed to much Liberty training. There is a video available. As a two-year-old I lightly started her under saddle and had her again at Jake Clark’s Mule Days in the parade and grand entry of the rodeo, along with pushing cattle and playing games.
Willow will be very gentle even with days or months off. She is good with dogs and all other livestock. Very easy to catch. Loads and hauls excellent. She will cross water and logs with ease. Has led the pack string and has been in string herself packing elk antlers and meat. She is good with all the arena toys, tarps, flags, balls and has been shot off from. I have roped and flagged green colts with Willow, along with gathering horses and moving cattle.
Willow will pick you up from a mounting block or log, whatever you ask of her. She is soft in the mouth. Good about handling her feet and ears, rides bareback, has a very good one-handed neck rein and side passes. Willow will ride out alone, is not spooky, and has been ridden by all levels of riders.
This very well-bred, classy one-owner mule has no bad habits and could go in so many directions, English riding, arena, family, ranch, or hunting mule.
You are welcome to come ride her in Story, Wyoming before the sale. More videos and pictures to come in April and May. She is a special mule at Jake Clark Mule Sale.
