You’re invited to consign a mule to America’s Finest Select Saddle Mule Auction held annually Fathers' Day Weekend. |

We are very happy that our Select Saddle Mule Sale has so much interest annually. Because of this, and that we limit our sale mule numbers, we begin taking consignments January 1st each year. Our sale is generally full by January 15th or earlier.
For new consignors, please forward a video of your auction mule in November or December. Please show your mule on video as follows: catching the mule in a large area, not a small pen; bridling the mule; saddling the mule, riding the mule; and picking up its feet. Please show how well the mule reins, backs, and generally handles especially around it’s ears. Also show any other qualities your mule may have; roping, cutting or other exceptional qualities.

Office Check in time is Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, from
1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Check in Early so the buyers can look over your mule(s). The trail course the next morning is mandatory on all auction mules.
Consignors will receive a catalogue in May.
If you are not consigning this year and wish to receive a catalogue,
email: info@saddlemule.com and request a catalogue.
Camping is available here at our ranch for $50.00 (one price for the week-no water or electricity hookups) or $25.00 for one day-Sunday. No open fires are allowed. All dogs must be on a leash at all times. Port-a-potties and garbage bins are available. Arrangements will be available for pumping septic tanks. | |
SELECT SADDLE MULE AUCTION WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FIRST 100 HEAD OF SELECTED MULES ACCEPTED.
Jake Clark reserves the right of refusal on all mules not meeting the Select Saddle Mule Auction Standards of Quality. Mules must have photo(s), consignment sheet and fees paid to be accepted by January 15th.
Required Performance Events:
Ages will be verified on all mules. Mules must be 4 years old and above. Any 4-year-old mules will be highly scrutinized.
Trail Coarse: Due to popular demand and many request from buyers, we will once again have a trail class this year - all mules in the sale are required to enter or you won't sell on Sunday.
Important things to consider:
- One stall is furnished at no charge for each consigned mule.
- Sale Preview begins promptly at 9 am and the sale starts at 1 pm on Sunday.
- All mules sold through the sale must carry a soundness guarantee,
- No refunds of consignment fees.
- Sales mules must be checked in by Thursday, for each annual event weekend. Check in times start at 1 pm and at 5 pm starting Tuesday and end Thursday.
- If you need your mule ridden through the ring, Jake will make arrangements to have a hand ride for $100 per mule.

Photographs need to be of high quality (300 dpi) and send more than one. Each year we plan a full color catalog that is mailed out by request to interested buyers nation wide. |
